Der Pool der Villa der Erklärbärin muss dringend erneuert werden. Ich habe es lange hinausgezögert, aber jetzt geht es leider nicht mehr.

Viele meiner Gastkinder sind mehrfachbehindert. Für sie ist der Pool ein ganz besonderer Ort – ein Platz zum Ankommen, Entspannen und einfach Kind sein. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass das Wasser so sanft und chemiearm wie möglich bleibt.

Leider haben sich in den alten Fugen hartnäckige Schwarzalgen festgesetzt. Dadurch müsste ich aktuell deutlich mehr Chemie einsetzen – und das fühlt sich für mich den Kindern gegenüber einfach nicht richtig an.

Deshalb wende ich mich heute an Euch: Ich schaffe das nicht allein – aber vielleicht gemeinsam mit Euch. Danke, dass Ihr da seid und mir helft, diesen Ort zu erhalten.

La piscina de la Osa Explicadora necesita renovarse urgentemente. Lo he ido posponiendo durante mucho tiempo, pero ahora ya no puede esperar más.

Muchos de los niños que recibo son tienen discapacidades múltiples. Para ellos, la piscina es un lugar muy especial: un espacio donde llegar, relajarse y simplemente ser niños. Por eso es tan importante que el agua sea lo más suave posible y con la menor cantidad de productos químicos.

Lamentablemente, se han instalado algas negras muy persistentes en las juntas antiguas. Esto hace que actualmente tenga que usar muchos más productos químicos, y eso no me parece adecuado ni responsable con los niños.

Por eso hoy recurro a vosotros: No puedo hacerlo sola, pero quizá juntos sí. Gracias por estar ahí.

The pool at the Explainer Bear's Villa urgently needs to be renovated. I’ve postponed it for a long time, but now it can no longer wait.

Many of my guest children have multiple disabilities. For them, the pool is a very special place – a space to arrive, relax, and simply be children. That’s why it’s so important that the water remains as gentle and low in chemicals as possible.

Unfortunately, stubborn black algae have settled into the old joints. This means I would currently need to use significantly more chemicals – and that just doesn’t feel right for the children.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today: I can’t do this alone – but maybe together we can. Thank you for being there and helping me to preserve this special place for the children.
